Sorry 'bout the funky angles on this one...
Spotted this on the way home from Raleigh on Sat., not familiar with the configuration. I'd say it looks vaguely dutch, but there was absolutely no makers mark on it anywhere. Looks rather useful, ground clearance is more than I'd be comfy with on the highway. Anyone out there can put a name to this beastie for me?

Hey Thanks, Paul, that was quick & dead-on.
Davy, that thing looks absolutely slap-arse baaaad. SAS? Very light, so I'm assuming it's role is like that of the Delta FAV?

Also, any kits of this out there? According to Paul's website, this thing is all over NATO & the EU, so I'd imagine the varieties are near endless. Compare my pic w/Davy's for starts. Sides fold, internal frame, different grille, etc...

There is a BIG "club" for these here in the states. Had one show up a work to pick up some merchandise....NEAT The owner and I talked for a few and he said he got it straight from overseas.....ordered it like a catalog item.

Hi Guys,
The New Zealand army has just bought a few of these in different configurations to take over from the good old Land rovers.
Just please don't talk to me about our defence policy

Rob,
I dont know if they are used by the SAS but they are used by units of 16 air mobile including RA and Signals units Although some units of the army have something similar to the FAV. A few quad bikes were earmarked for artic expedition which got cancelled these were used by the Rgiments sniper's I dont know if the still use them what happend to the trial
