Ola People
Well I promised in the post before I would post better pics in which the filtering and washing comes better forward a bit. I took this set of pics after I did some more filtering (mostly scratches and chips.) They are done with my Dads cam under the light in my Modeling room. Not the ideal environment for good pics but the best I could get at this time of the evening with rain outside.
I still haven`t done anything below the fenders.
Ok Over to the pics:
I added things like the little chips on the edge of the turretroof
My Beautifully weathered workbench.
A quite crummy shot of the backdeck trying to show the Fingerprints again
Another shot of the chips and Scratches
Some light scratches on the turretsides (the scratches you get when a firm Branch slides along the vehicle)
Some testfiltering with sandcolors on the nose of the vehicle
Some minor chipping and scratching. Note the discoloration by the filters
Some wear and tear on the turretroof
More filters are going to be added, Pencillead needs to be added just as pigments but that is for later. More pics when I have something to show
As always I would like to hear your feedback

Again, great work on your kl Pz Bef Wg I Ausf B ! I really like how you weathered the vehicle, and the slight paint chipping looks awesome.
My only comment would be on the heat shield on the muffler. I looks like bare metal PE in one of the photos. Maybe you just put the part on, or havent painted it yet ?
I will be looking out for more of your pics as you go on. I have this kit myself, and have been itching to start on it.
Greetz !!

Again thanks for the comments.
I can assure you it is painted and that in one or another way it isn`t that shiny in real life. But... My guess is that it is the paint acting in this way on the smooth service of the PE as it received the same coat as the tank. However to conquer all possibiliteis I will add a layer of matt varnish over it.
I would recommend this kit to everybody. It`s brilliant. Basically when you cut all parts off the sprues and you toss them back in the box you only need to shake the box twice and out comes the tank.

G'day Bob
Looking great mate, the weathering you have done so far looks great, are those weld joins made yourself or is that just how the kit is?
cheers

Thanks for your reply
I didn`t do the weld lines myself it is the result of DML`s superb molding. Brilliant kit.

Thanks for the compliment.. As I already said in part two the brightness of the Muffler was more due to bad Photographing circumstances and Bad lighting.

Rob your skills at weathering are real good. I agree with you that filters are an excellent way to add variety and depth to a paint job.
