what colour wash?

Hi guys Im building a M8 armoured car with the hatches open which exposes a lot of interior.now this is painted white but it looks flat and the detail needs to be brought out obviously a wash, but what colour do You use on white.Ive tried light grey but I wasnt happy with the results. can anyone help.

My Guess would be or Yellow or ..... Grey. White is very vulnerable to getting dirty so I guess Grey would be the way to go. Also you see dirt very fast on a white underground. Try several greys and dilute it really really thin and apply it to the whole area you want it. Then dab it with a piece of tissue (Don`t whipe) and you`ll have a really nice weathered interior.

Thanks for the help Robert,I will give it a try,Ive put a wash of muddy brown on the floor and that came out ok. maybe a few scratches and scuff marks will help break up the uniform appearence.Cheers
