Hi Shain:
Have you tried taking apart the nozzles and then cleaning them? You would be amazed at the amount of build up that occurs inside those tips. Since I started doing that, my clogging issues have almost disappeared.

hmmmmmmmz Very strange indeed. Maybe you can clean the inside of the airbrush. I did that too and you'll be amazed about all the paint clogged up.
You can always give it a try,
good luck

If I do not use my 470 for a couple of days, the needle will hang up in the nozzle when a make the first pull. Before I start a session I have gotten into the habit of pulling the needle out of the nozzle, cleaning it and lubricating with mineral spirits. Works eveytime.

I have had the same problem with my Aztek A470. I have just come to the conclusion that I have to take the nozzles apart often, especially when spraying acrylics as they dry so fast.

I have the same problem from time to time. I've too taken my nozzles apart and cleaned them, but since I have been carefull about shooting the color clean and soaking after use the problems have also almost disappeared. If I didn't love the quick color change facilitated in the A/B I might consider changing...
