I have the chance to aquire one fairly cheap.
I don't do much modern stuff so any comments would be great.

Jeff,
The M113's a fairly easy build even for a kit that traces it's roots back to the 70's. If you look in REVIEWS Vodnik has an excellent (as always) review of the M113A2 ODS kit.
Enjoy building you kit and post some pics so the rest of us can enjoy it too.
