All:
I already announced my build, the Iron Shipwrights 1/350 (resin) BB-55 North Carolina.
But, I forgot to ask if anyone has any suggestions or pitfalls wicomments on this kit ? Is any aftermarket available, and/or necessary ?
Since I've got 7 months until start date, I really haven't begun my research yet, and so will be glad of any hints & tips !!!

Hello John!
And good to have you onboard. I have yet to build a resin kit, though I have a Iron shipwrights Oklahoma in my stash. The ISW kits are top quality!
But there are those in the campaign that can give you pointers and help with resin ship kits. The ISW kit should develope into a beautiful detailed model for you! Once again, glad to have you with us!

well i'm signed up. I'll be doing a allied ship of WW2, i'd love to do a 1/350 HMS Hood, but there are no good kits (at least afforadable ones) out there. Proably settle for a 1/350 Prince of whales, if it costs to much i'll go for a 1/700 Hood. Repulse is also an idea.
o and anyone know much about the ship "Dreadnought", i mean the first battle ship (british i belive), not the class. I'll be doing a lil researching on this later, but anyone konw of any 1/700 models of this one? Or am i wrong on this.
Hi ZGuy,
The Tamiya 1/350 POW is a great kit, as is there 1/700 HMS Hood also. The British HMS Dreadnought I believe is made by one of the resin companies in 1/700. But being resin would be very exspensive!
How ever, you cant go wrong with your first two choises. Welcome aboard and good luck on finding the right kit for you.

I want to join too. Planning to make either the 1/350 Tamiya Musashi, Yamato or the Nw Jersey,
Angela
I'm going for the Musashi. Already factored in my budget for the next payday.
