Would the Jadgtiger rear fuel vents have been the same configuration as the King Tiger?
I can't seem to find a clear photo of these vents so I'm using King Tiger ref, most of it jives up but I can't seem to loacte a war time photo to show these vents as they where used in production.
Any help would be great
Thanks
Pete

Nope ! not the same as the KT's they are much shorter and just hang over the edge by about 2to 3 inches and point straight down..Those just behind the fighting compartment start almost in the center of engine compartment just under the escape hatch doors and runs all the way to the edge and just overhangs the same 2 to 3 inches over the side. If you have the Achtung Panzer you can see it on page 142 if not let me know and I'll "try" and scan it for you .

Guys we are talking about the little pipe to vent the fuel tanks and not the screened air intakes...I have never seen a picture of a JadgTiger with the long pipe as seen on the late KT's ..Sorry to disagree and maybe we aren't talking about the same thing.

I can confirm what The Bear is saying. They do run the legnth of the fighting compartment and hang down from the sides. There are 2 smaller ones in the back of the deck lid also.

Thanks for all the info, but I think I'll be making a second set of vents for the rear deck as well.
I found some shots over at "Missing Links"- "Think Tank" and sure enough there are the vent nuts/fittings present on both the left and right side of the rear deck.
As Bear pointed out there nothing too special, just a couple of pipes exiting some fittings on the rear deck and protruding down the sides of the hull 2" or 3" inches.
Thanks Again
Pete
