i was wondering if any1 had made or is making the tiger with interior from academy (and if so they had any pics of it on the site) i purchased one last year and have been on & off with it ever since. i've got the eduard etch for it as well and find it covers the sometimes bulky plastic parts well!!!! i was however a little dissapointed with the engine and the etch fret not covering this part. i have no detailed photos of an engine and so could not improve on it (if needed) any1 able to help
cheers

Looks great there Henk!
I would love to do this kit one day but many other projects to do first.

Built this last year. Good kit if you're careful - some of the interior locations are a bit vague on the instructions so try before you glue! Unfortunately I followed the instructions and used the pale green for the interior - it should be white.

I'm working on mine right now. I thought I would go ahead and super detail it with a crew and everything. Putting in TWS full interior, MB Models white metal Tiger I shells and tons of scratch building. God, what a mess. As far as accuracy, it's not bad but very basic. A step above the old Tamiya 1/25 scale Tiger. If you are not going to open up the top, just look in through the hatches, it's good. But if you want to show off the interior, there is lots of extra detailing to do. See the article over on Missing Links. He gives a great desciption of what needs to be done to correct it. I've been working on mine for about 4 months. Almost finished. Now I just have to make the crew. I'll post some pics in a couple of days. The wife is on vacation and she has the digital camera with her. It is a fun build though! Good luck.

Thanks, I build this before I got my AB, so it's all hand painted. I also added the zimmerit with putty, it was my first attempt and I think it's to thick.
Here's one of the exterior..
I've also learned to focus and use the correct apperture to get all the tank sharp.....
Cheers
