Ok here is an old time filler, that still works great.Since I cant post any pics to help
Ill wing it.In days of old we added baby powder to our enamel paint This turned
the paint into a flat finish.Today we flats at fit the bill and we dont need to mix this.
Lets take this one step farther and make a filler.
Heres what you need. A three X five card a stir stick baby powder a jar of military
flat paint. Fold the card length wise pour some baby powder in it begin to add this
to your paint, whoa easy now a little goes along way,the idea is to stir the powder
in until the paint will not drip off your stir stick. you can vary this til its almost a paste.
This little mix is great for those bad places were you dont want to get alot of collateral
damage when your sanding , great for those seems on that fuse of that 109 too.
Give this a try it works well in just about any use be it armor or aircraft. Oh yea it
it pre primes to.

Sounds like a good idea. A variation on this theme is to mix a little talc with some gap filling ACC. Works good and is sandable after it cures, (unlike straight ACC). Scott

Ponysoldier, say I use that method on the Italeri M4A1 turret halves instead of regular putty If I use liquid glue method of putting the casting on the turret, would it affect the babypowder/paint mixture? Also would I need to smooth that combo down when it dries?
