Hi all,
still with that beast !
I've nearly completed the turret. I'm still working on the loader MG and will probably stop nitpicking this area of the kit after setting it in place.
The hull is still waiting some details and I'll begin painting the inner side of the skirts and the running gear (except the individual links tracks) prior to assemble both hull halves.

I uploaded a couple of other pics in my gallery.
Any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Cool, looks like you're combining the DML and TAMIYA kits? What kind of PE do you use?

Hi Andreas,
thanks for the comment.
I indeed combined the DML USMC kit (early one not the Road to Baghdad kit) and the new M1A2 Tamiya for its Marines Corps specific parts. I used Tamiya parts too as templates for the bustle APU and its conduit for example.
The PE is the Eduard set ref 35510 designed for the DML kit.

Beautiful. I am quickly learning how inferior my Italeri kit is (to say nothing of the Trumpeter and Academy kits out there).
