I'm trying to find a good pic of a M151 front windshield in the lowered position against the front hood. I can't find anything that shows the details on the back of the window.

Not the best shots of the mechanism, but try this. Note, the third row down onthe left is not quite an M151!

Depends on which version you are building. M151A1 has two windshield wiper motors, one faces up, the other down. The M151A2 has one wiper motor on the drivers side that has a square gear box with a cylindrical motor on the inboard side. Hard to see, but they are in the below pics.

M151A2
Academy has the best rendition in their new M151A2 kit with hardtop. Tamiya's older M151A2 is missing the motor, but has the square gear box. Academy got close on their M151A1, they molded both motors in the same position, the passenger side motor needs to be removed and rotated 180 degrees. Other than the windshield wiper motors, and the circular rear view mirror, there is nothing else on the backside of the windshield.

You'll also note the in the link I sent, the windshields are often wrapped in canvas (?), either to protect the glass or to reduce glare.

Thanks for the images. I have the Academy kit with the single motor on the driver side. Has come together very nicely so far
