Yes, there is a visible weld seam that runs all the way around the turret middle. It can be seen below.

Well, I wouldn't call it perfect. There are a few areas where the AFV Club kit is better. For one, the SB return roller brackets do not have the uprighting loops while AFV does, and the AFV wheels (excepting the idler) are much better because they show the undercut rim visible after mudshields were removed. The SB wheels are neither fish nor fowl, representing neither shape correctly.

FYI, the Eduard sets are _at least_ 1/3 useless, meaning they are inaccurate replacements and/or the kit parts are better. They seem to have ABER-FEVER and think that people value quantity over accuracy. Most do, I guess.

I've only opened the box yet, but the parts that caught my attention most are the tracks. These are the best rubber tracks I have seen so far in a standard kit. No need for AM here I think.

I'm no rivet counter either. I certainly admire those who try to get every detail correct in their builds. I'm usually pretty happy when I finish if it at least "LOOKS" like what it is supposed to be..........

It sounded like such a nice kit. and the price was good, I ordered one also..... (along with a few other things).....
Maybe if I keep it on the same shelf in the closet as the AFV kit long enough, they'll mate, and I'll have the "perfect" M-41..... :-) :-) :-)

Me too mate.
to me plastic models are just enjoyment ,i dont know enough about U.S. armour and vehicles to even begin knowing whats right or wrong ,all i know is i'm really enjoying the kit ,there are'nt many out there with virtually no fit problems ,and this is one ,plus it biulds into very much an above average model without all the need for etch and extraslike Henk said the rubber tracks are great too .
,i agree nothings perfect ! but in a world of the likes of Panda models ,and RPM ,this is as near perfect as they come
