I like what you have done with the brackets for the cable on the side of the hull, but on the left front, just in front of the towcable, are the brackets for the 'nahverteidigungs waffen', which I don't think were present on the ealy Tiger. I might be wrong do, and somebody is bound to point this out either way.
I also like the damage to the exhaust screens, looks good.
Cheers
Henk

Nice Tiger! Way better than my own :-)
About the camo: this scheme was used early in the summer of 1943. Don't know whether it's used during the Kursk battle though....I like this sceme too, was planning to use it on a Demag with 5cm PAK.
Greetings,
Martin

Thanks all for replying!
mossieramm: This tank was suppose to be at Kharkov - Kursk area, around end of 1942 and beggining of 1943, with the Schwere SS-Panzer Abteilung 102 (sSSPzAbt. 102) 2. SS Panzergrenadier Division "Das Reich", on the the very Kursk battle these tabks were renumbered with S01, S02 and so on...
airwarrior: For the chip pain, no tricks here, just get your rust color (you name it, I prefer the brown shades) and with a thin pointed brush and very diluted, just pick some small areas at time randomly, but try to focus on these cracks would occur on the real vehicle, wacht out to not overdo it...
Henk: As matter of fact I diīdnīt know what was it for , so I canīt tell you if itīs wrong or not, sorry!
JimF: Not! I didnīt use it, I did use the Academy link by link set, designed for itīs Tiger I.
Thanks for all!

Hey Paulo ...Very nice job on bringing this old kit into the 21st century...Nice camo (even if you did chicken out on TIKI ) I'm just kidding you Paulo.... It is very representative of the Das Reich tigers in the spring of 43 ...The only thing that may not be very accurate are the gun cleaning rods ...there should only be two on the left side of the tank when standing on the tank looking forward and three on the right side but I can over look this if you can .. And the tow ropes should have brackets on either side of the gun cleaning tubes.
Excellent job sir keep up the good work.
all the best
Rick

Hi Rick!
I know of these flaws, but since the cleaning are made into the tank and I scrap it, I had to use ones that came with the Panzer IV set from Tamiya, I know it was a short cut, but....
The same goes to the brackets for the tow ropes....
Thanks on pointing that, cheers!

Thanks!
Dominique, I really liked your comments, thatīs the kind of harsh words I like to hear to keep me moving and improving, how is that technique of wash with pigments and hair drier? I never heard about that....
Chad, the academy lynks are a pain in the arse to clean all the ejector pins, but they are great after finished!
Cheers

Hi Dominique!
Thanks for the tips!
But I really didnīt get how you use the pigments, and Iīd like to know if I could use dry pastels instead! Because itīs hard to get pigments from this side of the pound, you what I mean?
If you could detail your technique a little bit, feel free to contact me via email:

My regards and thanks again!
