If I may comment about the use of the flag - during the Blitzkrieg era air recognition flags were neccessary so that their own planes wouldn't bomb them, but by the time that the Panther G's came into service the only planes in the air were Allied planes, and the Germans wouldn't want to advertise their presence to some patrolling fighter-bombers. In the same token, a big Swastika flag would make an excellent aiming point for a gun crew and render your very nice camo job quite useless. Although if the flag is there for some sort of ceremonial or memorial purpose, that is an entirely different story.
