Although a gun and not a howitzer the german 88mm flak 36/37 is an impressive looking piece of ordance, and the Tamiya model is fun to build and comes with 8 figures,2 boogies and a motorbike. Also you can select if you want in the anti-aircraft or anti-tank role.

That kit is about 16 pounds but that changes from country to country. If you can't find the kit in your local shops, try Ebay.com pick the country nearest your own (saves on P&P) find the model section and browse through. You may not find one straight away but there are always good deals there.
