Hi All
Just finished this little dio and I'm really happy with the way it turned out, let me know what you think.
The Kingtiger is from DML built straight from the box
The figure are from AB miniatures
The bushes and grass are from woodland scenics
The cobble stone is some left over HO which was washed with some black and brown.
The 44gal drums, jerry cans and crates are from Acadmey
The tools and maps are from Verlinden 1/35 set I just used the smallest tools they had and with the maps I just cut them down to size.

Your Diorama looks great if you didn't tell us it was 1/72 scale i would have thought it was 1/35 awsome paint work on those small figures, can't find anthing wrong here.

looks good hemble... if just looking at the amount of details by itself, i swear that is a 35th scale! the groundwork and composition is also very well done...

Hi Hemble,
Without 1/72 explanation in topic, I could think the first 2 photos are belong to a 1/35 built. Kingtiger, figures, groundwork and detailing are very good in your diorama. Camo on the tank and uniforms are very well painted. The red linings on the caps, collars and shoulder straps are a little thick but i can imagine how hard it is on 1/72 scale figures. you have done an excellent work my friend, congrats

Brilliant work! It really puts the pressure on the rest of us 1/72nd scale builders
I'm in the process of building a König Tiger! I'll be very pleased with myself if I end of with a model looking like that!

Hi Hemble
That's some incredible work you're showing here!
The camo scheme on Tiger and crew is incredible.
YOu've really pushed the envelope on this one, and I can't wait to see more of your work.
iIt's nice to see that 1/72 diorama's are getting more and more popular!
Just one small remark (the only one which I can find): in picture number 3 it looks like the inside of the track (at the front) is showing the same colour as the camo. Maybe that needs to be retouched just alittle, or maybe it's just the camera playing tricks..
What did you use for the base? looks to be a jarlid of somekind?

Hi All
Thanks for the comments really appreciate them and glad you like it.
I'm in the middle of making a dio with a Panther on a flatbed which I've scratch built/converted from a HO flatbed.
moJimbo- I've got he above mentioned dio happening plus a Pz Kpfw IV Ausf. f , Tiger Ausf. H and a Tiger Ausf. E.
Henk & Slodder- when I do the Tiger Ausf. E the crew are going to be in camo so I'll do a written feature with that. But all I did was use the technics I used for my 1/35 and scaled it down.
warvos- I see what you mean it is the angle of the camera it is actually the bracket that holds the tow cable up and the base is chipwood from a craft shop which cost about $1.50.
