Does anyone do sets of 'generic' truck decals for WW2 U.S. vehicles? I'm particularly thinking of NW Europe 1944/45.

Also, anyone got a decent source for photos/details of the 'waterproofing' of vehicles prior to the Normandy landings?

Thanks, Jim

Jim Archer fine transfers does the decals in several sheets and sorry can't really help with the pics of the waterproofing but I do know they extended the aircleaners upwards.

Jonathan Gawne's reference book Spearheading D-Day (Histoire & Collections ISBN: 2-908-182-793) is the best coverage of this subject - in my humble opinion. I like his books and the information they provide over any other author's work. There are color and B&W photos of the process of waterproofing trucks and tanks. I think I reviewed this book some time ago here on site - but I highly recommend it again!

Thanks for that both of you, but wouldn't Histoire & Collections make an excellent subject for a feature? I own a few of them and they are a Superb series of reference books...

Anyone got a link? ...Jim
