What would be the best match for the dark green for the German Leopard?

If you are doing a single color Lep 1 A4 Olive Drab. If you wish to do a three color camo paint job Forest Green in the Model Master range works well. Hope this helps.

Dragoon,
The standard color that was used by the German army was a code called RAL6014.
Try this link to the IPMS Stockholm German color conversion charts
It shows RAL 6014 to be FS34087 which is also a Testors number.
The Italeri kit for the A4 uses FS34079 (RAL6020).
Don't forget to check out the rest of their site, it gives tips on scale effects for colors etc.
If you need more help give me a PM.
Hope this helps.

I am pretty sure the Leopard 1A4 was not painted in the 3 colour CAPP pattern although some 1A3s were.

Paul,
I think you're right, I ve not been able to find any of those 3 tone A4s either.
In any event, if any were painted like that you can find info on camo on :
http://www.panzerbaer.de
Look under Tarnschemen (camoschemes).

Here are some photos of 1 A4 or A5 in Danish service. I found very few A4's Marked this way also. Strange that the Leopard 1 1A 4A can be found marked this way. Danish Leopards
