Hey all.
I've finally got round to starting my entry for this campaign. It's gonna be a Tamiya M16 MGMC. It took me a while to figure out if this was the one to do coz I could find no reference pics of units, what extra kit etc, but I am reliably informed that they were there. So I guess I'll have to take a 'guesstimate' !
So far have started the chassis and gun mount.

hey mark...

good luck on your campaign..
according to my referenece which is Battle of the Bulge by Steven Zaloga (Concord) , there is a photo on the M16 ...
so i think that kit qualified...but i dont even sure the unit of the vehicle...mayeb some else could help u...

Hey Sil,
I managed to find out that the 489th Anti-Aircraft (AW) Artillery Battalion were in action as part of 3rd Army. So too were 119th AAA. I don't know the markings these would have carried but there is a photo of an M16 in the ardennes here:

An interesting shot, but no idea of the unit.

My guess at the cam scheme would be the trusty OD/ black combination.
I might give this particular vehicle a go- be nice to see more views- find out how the jerry can rack is placed and any other field mods...
