VLS''s 135th Construction Battalion has built a solid "nice to have ","good addition" kit in a European Balcony.

Scott,

good review, thanks !

My thoughts on this product (based on the review) :

I need a balcony for a future product. After reading this review, I''m convined that this is what I need and I''m therefore going to buy it.

I think "building accessories" like these definately have a future in diorama modeling. They have those details that are quite hard to produce in larger numbers.... try making 10 of those ornaments that should look exactly the same....

I think this is a perfect adition to diorama modeling.

well i agree with Danny totaly .
I plan a dio on my island and the building i ll be making has exactly this tuype of balcony. So that gives me the right away ready solution . Nice review , and i also agree that the option to avoid some scratching especially when u have 1000 items to scratch on a dio is a serious one so .......
Thanks for sharing Scott

Regarding Danny's comments on the balcony, he's absolutely correct -reproducing a large number of IDENTICAL components is well-nigh impossible. What someof the manufacturers need to consider is the production of 'packs' of (for example) 10 window frames in 2 different styles (no more). Verlinden 'dropped the ball' badly with their recent pack of window frames - instead of producing 2 styles with multiple copies, they produced about 6 different types which (unsurprisingly) forces the modeller to buy 5-6 packs - Ouch!...Jim
