i'm using the aztek 4709 and i wanna know how close should you put the fineline (tan) nozzel to the model, and how much air should you flow through it while spraying it to get those nice fine lines.
thanks

First ..I have never done it on a model...only cardboard! But...I used 5 to 10 lbs pressure and was only an inch or so away..and could write my name...why not try that first before you aim it at your build..the cardboard writing that is.

Hey Shain,
I have the same AB, and I have found the best results were to thin the paint a little more than normal, so instead of the normal 50/50, I usually go 60/40 thinner to paint. Drop my air pressure to about 5lbs, as with the gravity feed you don't need much anyway, and I would be an inch or less from the subject...just depends on how fine a line you need.
Barely cracking the trigger, and make sure your nozzle is clean, especially the very end where the paint comes out....a little dried paint there can cause havoc with the spray pattern.
