Terry Ashley over at P.M.M.S. has just posted a review of the New DML Tiger I (Initial Type). It can be seen:
HERE...

While we are on the subject, DML's Website has started posting 'Endorsements' (they call them reviews) from various sources ...

Also, although I am always delighted to link in to sites such as P.M.M.S. - particularly with reviews as well written and informative as Terry's, I would like to stress (once again) that we are ALWAYS looking for well, written review material particularly covering recent releases. Not everything will be published but it will always be carefully considered...Jim

Hi, Have to say that when I first started hearing about 'another Tiger kit' I was a tad less than excited. After all I think that if there's one model on the market that is a bit 'overdone,' this one would be it.

But the more I've been hearing about this particular kit the more I've come to change my opinion, so much so that last week I went ahead and told the guy at my local hobby store to put my name down for one on his growing list of folks who have pre-ordered it.

And now that this review has come along, I definitely feel that I've made the right decision about ordering one. Maybe even later ordering another one or two to build the different styles offered. And will be looking forward in hopes that Dragon will release more of the Tigers--or anything else for that matter-that is designed and set up like this one will be.

Dragon definitely is THE model innovator of 2005 it would seem. And all I can say is more power to them too.

Thanks and take care, Sgirty

Curious - my feelings exactly. Prior to this I would have wanted a Tiger as much as a hole in the head. Perhaps the sheer 'scale' of this kit is taking a lot of people by surprise - myself first on the list....Jim :-)

I've got two Tiger 1's built and I too was who cares until I saw what came with it. This looks to me to be the must have kit of the year in Armor, though Trumpeter's 350 scale Lexington and North Carolina top the charts of kits to kill for. Think I might hold out for a sure to follow Dragon late version Tiger one as I have always loved the AA machine gun on the TC coupola.

Hi, First slip up here. No mesh screens provided for the rear deck, and these vehicles did have them. Oh well, guess we can't have it all. This is really too bad, as it could have been an item so easily added in. Now I wonder what aftermarket screens will fit this bad boy?

Take care, Sgirty
