Hi all,
Looking for some info on vison blocks. I'm getting tired of painting all of mine black and coating with future. I have looked at a lot of photos and can't seem to find out what color the blocks were on WW 2 german armor.

If any of you fellow "tread heads" can help, I would appreciate it.

One thing to remember is that while they may have had a green tint looking from the inside out, AFV interiors are dark, thus looking in from the outside they would appear black. My 2 cents (USD)

Are these vision blocks original or modern replacements? I thought vision blocks had a very black/blue hint to them. Why are vision blocks the color they are, rather than clear?
Cheers
