Hello all.

i have a M1-A2 OIF by tamiya and i was wondering if any of you modellers out there leave the wheels free to rotate (on the little plastic washer inserts) or completely clue the wheels in place?
I personally think that the rotating wheels make my Abrams feel like a toy instead of a model.

What do you think?

cheers .

Commandosolo.

I tend to agree with you, Ollie.
Finish painting and weathering then glue them.
The only drawback is if you decide to re-paint the kit you'll have to paint the wheels and tracks in place.

Hi,
I don't see the problem with free wheels, you know. IMHO, leaving them free will ease the installation of the tracks.
The Tamiya wheels won't give a toy look to your kit as some Trumpeter kits do because they were designed to be a rolling toy (give a look at their Type 85 series with a screw instead of the central hub).

Just my 2 cents
