When would a jagdpanther, if ever, be seen without zimmerit ie. Early war Russia or late war Russia/Western front? Also on the Italeri kit, the suspension arms, the ones on the left side sweep forward and the ones on the right sweep aft, is this correct? I suppose this lets you all know just how much I know about German Armor. Thanks for the previous responses.

Yes the arms are right, something about how a torsion bar suspension works..
and yes late war ( Post Oct44) models, some with flame dampening exhausts, 2 part barrel, crew heater , single drivers front hull scope were seen unzimmeretted.

Thanks for the reply. One last question, what does the crew heater look like and where was it located?

The "crew heater" was in fact an enlarged engine fan cover
which housed an extra duct into the engine bay.

Ok, Problem #3, the kit has a late barrel, but early rubber wheels. What the heck do I do now? .... An early Jagdpanther with no Zimmerit? I don't feel like trying to putty/texture this thing due to time constraints, somebody throw me a bone please!

Rubber is ok, only a few panthers had steel wheels. The only differences were the number of rim bolts on the rubber wheels.
