Just a heads up to any of those building this kit or thinking about starting it.
Using vinyl tracks, the M8 cargo tractor needs 1.25 lengths per side. I have just completed the tracks on mines, using AFV Club indy tracks, and only one set is needed. There is actually about 10 tracks left over. Now Ive got an extra set that I dont need!
The AFV Club tracks are probably the best indy tracks Ive built to date (M41/M42 tracks). They come in a small bag, already cut and cleaned from the sprues.. so you can start assembly immediately. No need for cement as you go along either .. these are working tracks and they were a pleasure to build ... took 40 minutes for both sides.
The rubber pads are seperate but on a sprue. They can be glued in place, but I have decided to paint the metal tracks first and then glue them in afterwards to avoid painting them. I tried to cement a pad to a track but it came off, so super glue is needed!
Pictures will follow shortly when I have more time.

I placed this post in "no group association" as there is no Blood, sweat and gears group yet. Havent a clue why it ended up in Age2 group!
