I Made this building, street and sidewalk from scratch. I'm not finished yet. It has taken me 2 weeks to get this far. I need to secure the house to the base and add some debris. I'm not sure if I have room for a lamp post or telephone pole?
The roof is made from tree bark.
The rest is made from thin cardboard, styrofoam, wood, plastic, paint and mortar. I should be done in several days and I'll post the finished product. SCALE IS 1:32 (approx.)

Very nice work. I especially like the way you built a surround around the base and made it look as a structural part. I am looking forward to seeing your next set of pics. Cheers Kevin

Very nicely done there Morbshock. I like the way you made those shell holes on the building too. Keep us posted. Build on!

Very nice, especially the roof, gives a nice old feeling :-)

Will the figures also be on the dio or will you also include armor (there's room for a tank or vehicle)

Greetings

That looks very nice I like to see it finshed.
It's a little detail but as far I can see the door looks to new, some wheathering and some bullet holes in it and it looks a lot better.

greetz Rob!

I like it!

Also - just LOVE the base - it ties the them together, and actually enhances the period! Great idea!!!

Mord:
great looking vignette?
Are you using the soft plastic figures for these projects?
Take a look at some of the DML sets or some of the Tamyia sets as you could probably do some pretty cool stuff with those figures that would enhance the scene.

great work

Nice build, but I wonder....

obviously, the house is abandoned, but if that is the case, who would have shut it ?

Would the adversary have wasted time and recourses to shut it up ?

Would locals ?

If I would have been the adversary, I would have let it open, so the enemy would at least have spent time to search it ( and to find nothing ), or, I would have used it myself in some way.

Hope this makes sense.
