hi all, a few weeks ago, i asked about the types of olive drab, such as how the humbrol 66 is a little dark, and the humbrol 155 is more lighter..... well i just got back from the store, and the only olive drab they had was humbrol 66, i wanted to get 155, but they didnt have it, so i got 66, and i agree with you all, it is way to dark, its almost a dark grey. my question is, what color can i add to humbrol 66 to make it the true olive drab, eg... yellow, brown, lighter green, etc etc??
thnx
matt

Use yellow or a yellow toned color to lighten the olive drab. Use a red toned color to darken it.

I use TAN to lighten OD, and I use SIENNA to darken it. Just don't use WHITE and BLACK... they affect the color too much in my opinion.
