Tamiya T-34 model 1943 engine and compartement, no Pe or resin will be used excepet for the resin tracks, i started with Maquette engine Transmission set, the basics are there but it needs alot of detail work, none of the main parts are glued yet, many parts must be added. Let me know what you think. More pics in my gallery on page 5.

You've done some great detailing here, and the overall fit is very precise.

This T-34 build looks like it would be a great Feature or Model on Display layout for the site, (i.e. Armorama). If you are interested in doing a write up on this build please let me know.

Great detail.

Nice start RV. Did you turn the aluminum parts yourself, or are they some sort of after market item? Very nice work so far. "Q"

Very nice start! The turnings are a great touch.
The only comment I would make is that the fan should sit almost completely on the transmission side of the firewall.
I have a photo of this on a Model '42 if you think it would help.

OK, here it is. This photo I'm told was taken of the Aberdeen T-34 during its evaluation. Something to note here is the lack of the Cyclone air filters which would have been common to mid tto late "Model '43s" and all T-34-85s (They may common to all "Model '43s but I not 100% sure of that just yet).
I'm not sure who owns the copyright to this photo and the copy I have doesn't say. Sadly it's one of only two or three of this tank that I know of and no one (not even the folks at APG) seem to know where they've gotten to.
