Hi!
I am going to do a Vignette (Does it spell so?), or an little Diorama for my 120mm figure US Airborn General. I have never done a diorama, and need some tips and so on...
Thanks!

You've come to the right web site! These guys are great.
I would recommend you do a couple of this to get ready for a dio.
Thing 1 - Research
Thing 2 - Research
Go through the galleries here and get an idea of what others do in dios. Go through the forums and read postings, there is soooo much there that you can pick up a great deal before you even start. Dont forget to do period/location/subject research. Make sure the setting you are creating is one based close to reality and that the subject you are modeling is appropriate for the location etc.
Do some research and learn from others and thier efforts and (honestly) mistakes.
Then - practice and patience.

My best advice... think of the "story"... is he in battle, traveling, or perhaps resting? Then tell a small, tight visual story that creates a photograph of the moment.

My advice would be to research on a particular idea that you have and then generate more ideas from there..........Sourcing and using the correct materials is also critical for acheiving the final results that you have in mind.
