Hmm I'll probably remove the kit's decals again and try some dry decals for a change....
Good plan, Dry transfers are brillliant, I'm going to try to use them as much as I can.
You did a good job with the mud, nice texture and colour. If there is one thing to improve in your next built, it's the edges of the mud. I think it could be a little bit less regular. If you look at both front mudguards, on the left one the mud is more irregular. This ( I think) looks better than a more regular ( less jagged) edge. But that does not really matter on this KT as you will add this in a diorama, where the groundwork mud will blend in with the mud on the tank and the edges will be less pronounced and it will look great.
I would not go overboard with paintchipping or the graphite powder (pencil).. Most Tanks in the Bulge were either brandnew or had just been refitted and well maintained. I would keep the graphite restricted to around the hatches and cupola edges.
