Anyone ever use their Aztek A470 in the single action mode?
If so, how were your results?

I have and the results are not much different from any other single action AB.
Is there a reason why you would want to use the single action? Are you going to be covering a large area? I mean, double action is so much more versatile with noticeably better results. At least for me,

I have used it, but never really found it that useful....it sprays a pretty wide pattern when in single action mode, even with the finest tip installed in it. And when the dbl action will allow you the same pattern if needed...never really saw much point in the single action mode.
I suppose for a beginner, would ease them into how to use a dble action....which I think was the whole point of giving the Aztec a single action mode. Just have never really found it all that useful.

Viper is exactly right. It is the only brush I've ever used, and I started off using the single action just to get used to the brush and airbrushing in general. Now, I use the dbl action much, much more. But, the single action is useful for large areas recieving a single color.

Thanks for the help everyone.
Large areas is exactly what I want to use it on. My other hobby is model railroading and I want to use something with single action for painting the landscaping and other scenicing instead of my Badger 360.
