OK, for the purposes of the Bucket Bonanza my M113A3 model is finished. I still plan to add some stowage and maybe a crew at a later date, but I won't be able to do it before the campaign end and they are not really necessary to be able to call the model finished.
Looking at these pictures someone may ask why I bothered applying the NATO camouflage at all... Well I ask this question myself... But luckily in reality the camouflage on the model is more visible - the pigments which I applied on the model seem to reflect the light in such a way that they make the camouflage disappear underneath. And actually NATO camouflaged M113s in Iraq are were often covered in sand and dust so much that camouflage was almost invisible, so at least my model is accurate in this .

Hey Pawel GREAT JOB, that is the best 1/35 M113's i've seen in many of years. I've been following this build from your first post and could'nt wait till it's finnish. When you posted the second time with the 3 nato paint i thought to myself ok, see what it will looks finnished. Now with this second paint job it looks great. The 3 nato paint just..just comes through at the right amount. The weathering also great, right down to walking on top of the hull. I only wish i had your patience and keen eye for detail. Please post when you throw on the gear.

Thanks for your comments, Everyone!!!
Cookie,
The model is a mixture of Tamiya M113A2 Desert Version and Academy M113A2 kits. I used bottom hull, suspension arms and half of the idler wheel from the Academy kit, all the rest came from Tamiya model. I used AFV Club vinyl one piece tracks (plus two links from their individual links set as spares) and MV lenses for headlights. I also used a few parts from Eduard PE set for Tamiya kit, but most of this set went to the spare parts box and instead I scratchbuilt many detail parts myself.
EDIT: one more thing I forgot to mention - the mesh on the engine exhaust grille is from Aber mesh set.
Here you can see several in progress photos of my model:

Yes, I used Beach Sand and Gulf War Sand pigments.

Great work, I missed this when it first rolled through.
Question, what did you use to make the velco strips along the sides, they look very real?
