Not that I built for the campaign just for the medal, and not that it is all that important to me. And I know Sabot just moved and changed jobs.
But has anyone recieved their last sci-fi campaing medal for Around the World?

This was brought up earlier this week: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/45113&page=1

In a nutshell, I asked a few times. Sent and resent the award. Asked someone else to assist in getting the medal added. No replies, no award activation.

Once the powers-that-be activate the award, I can pull up the Add Award page. The Enlisted Roster pops up, I place a check mark next to the names of all the finishers, and hit submit. Then we all get the award at the same time. Rest assured, I did not award the medal to my buddies and leave other folks out.

I'm not going to expend any more energy begging that the award be activated. If it does, then I will award the medals to all who participated. Until then, I'm as powerless as you are to award the medal.

Thanks for the reply Rob.
I figured there was just a free time glitch somewhere in the chain.
Like you, I'm not too concerned about it and I had missed the posting about the comms disconnect.

What did Heinlein say?
"Waiting is"

Thanks for your efforts.

I have yet to receive my "Alone, Against All Odds" and "Around the World" ribbons too. I'm not concerned...and even if the campaign host forgets that I entered and finished, I'll remind him.

Then I suppose the Big Question is...did ANY campaign after the two above get their ribbons, or are the two above finished campaigns the only outstanding ones?

No - they aren't the only ones. I sent Jim an email this morning as a reminder.

I don't presently have the access to upload and attach Ribbons to Campaigns. That update is planned for the near future, however...

LOL, about 20 of us are still waiting on the ribbon from the Summer 2003 "Big and Small" campaign in figures.

Since the leader of that campaign quit the hobby ( I think) shorty after that campaign wrapped up, I'm still trying to get medals for those that finished. Hopefully that will be resolved in 2005 -- look at it as a Pentagon review process!

Yes, Move It ended two weeks after Around the World. Those medals were activated and added to our profiles (check my profile to see).

No one has received an Around the World medal yet. The medal has not been activated so I can't award it to the members....Like I said, when the medals get activated, I will award them...until then I have as much power as you do to award the medal.
