Guys,
I placed a post on ML ( http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=47209&messageid=1108344827 ) regarding assistance with the M1IP hull for the Panther II (MIne Clearing Vehicle).
Wanted to widen the request and post the link here. If anyone can help this Russian modeler with the M1 question, I would appriciate it.
thanks,
Dave

Dave,
Just like I posted at ML on the original M1 Panther II thread, the PMMS review has all the info needed to correct the Trump kit to an accurate M1IP hull. That is what I used for my model. It was discussed oin multiple forums before, and the corrections listed are all you need to do. It is really quite easy. I wouldn't worry about changing out the hull for the Tamiya one, just fix the few corrections needed on the Trumpeter hull.

Gino,
I have that reference, but with some other posts on ML, I thought there was more details/tasks to perform.
I see that the NBC has to be removed, and with the Trumnpeter kit, that is an easy task. I already completed this as the kit had the needed lid included.
The rear engine deck sounds like a snap (i.e., covering the two small hatches and adding texture), so I do not see any issues with that.
This all said, comes from after reading all the informaiton. That and borrowing a buddy;s Warmachines book. So my question was premature or post mature in its nature. I was more concerned that I was in need of major corrections, but as I have read, the M1 -> M1E1 was limited on the outside. WIth the roughly 800 IPM1's constructed, I see the needed fixes now.
This is what you get when you study "after' you have asked questions.......
Thanks for the info though, it was my rush to find the answers.
Later,
Dave
