The rust is done with pigment powder...
I described it in on of the postings in the Mercedes 3000 L Werkstattkraft wagon topic.

The bunker stays on the shelf at this time.
As soon as the ' bridge ' is finiished i will work further on the bunker..

Did you brush the thinner or turnpentine or white spirit on the area and place the pigment powder over it?

The light rust parts are done with mixture of terpentine and the pigment powder.
And that works exelent . If you can get your hands on it i can recomment it !!!
Also the ground is done with this pigment powder to have the same color for dust on the floor as on the tank.

Thanks for your tips, my friend SS-74 told me that he brushes turnpentine on the area and followed by the pigment powder. Maybe I'll try both to see which one is better. Thanks again for your tips.
