OK Jim... I'll try to break away from the "classics" top ten.
My votes go to Toni Envar for the inspiration he's been and to Epi for helping us out with pictures.
But that's only because I can only nominate two.
I think Penny deserves a special nomination for being a true lady model builder !

Not breaking away with the first name : CaptainJack
And the second I'll join GeneralFailure : Envar
CaptainJack because........ euhhhhh just because he's the one and only CaptainJack.
and Envar for the inspiration he also gives me (Sorry for copying Jan).

I would like to second the nomination (or third now I guess) for Epi and also nominate Folgore. This is why I would like to do so.
Both guys post incredibly useful information. As a novice this helps me out a ton. I know if either of them have written something it’s worth reading and I will find some great modeling oriented information. I have not seen folgore's work yet bet Epi's is very inspiring.
I know we all have parts of Armorama we like best, but the part I like the best is the great content about modeling. Personally I feel this award should go to those who add to the content and that’s why I have nominated these to guys (even if Folgore and I have not always agreed on things). Check out these guys’ posts and you will see what I mean.

I want to see Treadhead take the prize this time, but I also want to nominate KFMagee. Keith is a professional diorama builder, but he freely shares his secrets with us. His tips have come in really handy.......

Wow it looks like Tread and myself are becoming symbioticaly joined at the hip! That is an Yodaism Since some of the really nice people have already been thrown in for selection I thought I'd look at a couple who'd been overlooked. Armoured Sprue and SS-74. They are regular positive contributors and I wanted them to fall into the run ups as well. It is really hard because you want to nominate everyone......Arthur, Jan, Eagle, Penny etc etc Hey maybe we can nominate the site as an ad hoc personnage?
Jack,
Oh Yeah forgot, Just got back from Euro Militaire. I'll post a report this week.

My nominees are ......... ruffle, ruffle ........
Capt. Jack and Envar, because they are both so helpful in giving their "secrets" to us unworthy ones #:-)
And because their work keeps inspiring me to do better

Thx Toni. It's my first nomination on this excellent site. Though I have fun on this place anyway, it's still nice to notice that the things you write and do can sometimes actually help others. That's what this site is all about isn't it.....
thx again. It's appreciated !
Though

Ok, my nominations then, goes to Treadhead and Eagle.
If I could I would nominate everyone here, because there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand when you ask something.

Everybody deserves a nomination but as I have to nominate only two, I´ll go for Keith Magee and Envar............ solely for their inspiration.

Wow...we had a wide range of nominations there. : )
I tallied the nominations (the one's that counted anyways....ya guys need to read -- 2 nominees per person!). The results had a three-way tie for the 5th and last spot. Rather than increase the field by 2 additional users, I am going to pull rank and nominate someone who I think has been overlooked these past few go-arounds, Tin_Can (Bryan Dewberry). Bryan has been doing a bang-up job processing and posting images to the gallery. His help has been invaluable to me. He may not win this time around, but I wanted him to know his hard work is appriciated. And no disrespect to those 3 people who got 2 nominations and tied for the 5th spot....your day will come I am sure!
Now go vote!
Vote for October User of the Month!
Cheers,
Jim
