nearly finished the build just got to repair damage done by the mrs when she cleaned up my area, snapped off the antenna holder.the paint job is the basic olive drab with a patchy lighter coat over the top, the axe is just a base coat it wont be staying that colour.Ive got to put some dull coat on the seat pads their a bit shiny the only after market is the wheels from verlinden a real pain in the butt to get right.please feel free to comment.
oh yes I havent put on the hatches yet, she lost one of those in the clean up and Ive got to scratch build one

Looks nice John. I have a question, what reference are you using for the seat color - they look a bit too red to me. Keep the pics coming!

John, these wheels look great. Can you please fill us in as to the issues/problems you had with them? Thanks.

Thanks for the comments guys. the seats yes too red back to the paint pot on that one.I used an article by Steven Zaloga in Military Modelling as my main reference.
Steve the wheels simply dont fit without taking all the axle stubs off ,then they are very close to the suspension units, the rear of the verlinden wheels are solid resin with a shallow indent to stick the axle in very precarious and it only just fits under the mud guard, they look nice once their on.Ive posted a photo to give you an idea how close the fit is, I chopped a good inch of axle off.
