been a while since I've posted anything so I thought I'd show the dio I'm working on lately. It is FAR from being done....I'd say about 40% done at this point. The Tiger needs markings/weathering. Ice is needed. Snow, lots and lots of snow! Opinions, comments welcome. Cheers,
Charles

Well this is something that definately deserves a bigger audience.
Here you go mate. That is a brilliant start of this dio.. I love the cold atmosphere that is already well presented on this project and I love the bare branches... They SHOW the winter. Will there be figures added to the dio?
Can`t wait to see more on this

Very nice to date. Nice layout and it does give you a very chilly feeling. NICE indeed.
Don't forget to trample down the foliage where the T drove.
What's the story line going to be?

Robert, nice build would like to see more pics, it seems to be very well placed. Please don't put to much snow on the Tiger tho it would be a shame to cover up what looks to be a very nice cat. - Cheyenne

Hey stranger,
Don't I know you from somewhere?
Is it going to be stuck there or in the process of going in? In other words will there be a desperate crew trying to bailout?
Cheers,
Jim

There is no way that I can take credit for this piece of art. I only posted it because it first didn`t show up in Charles` post. I also see somebody already deleted it out of my post which probably caused the Diffusion.
Nope I`m not the builder... Charles Reading made it.

Yeah, I kept posting and when the pix wouldn't show I'd delete it and try again. I guess during the process Robert saw the struggle going on and posted it for me.
I need to be able to edit the post before it actually gets posted
Thanks Robert
Hey Jim, long time no see!! This one will be abandoned and frozen solid in the pond...crew long since gone. I will have a retreating soldier passing by.

Wow! I think that less would mean more to this dio, (in regards to having only the one figure)... Good balance; let the fate of the Panzer garner most of the viewers' attention!

Hi Charles
I really like this simple composition which shows off the work that you have.
It gives a wonderful feel of cold desolation you feel if you touched the tank your hand would stick to it.
I agree with Cheyanne not to much snow and a well wrapped up figure.
Great Job
Cheers Chris

Echo the other comments and agree that this really presents an effective picture of a cold, desolate scene. The Tiger is so well done, it's almost a shame to see it like this rather then "operational". Very well conceived theme. Please keep us posted.

That's amazing indeed! You can actually hear the wind howling over the deserted chilly plains. The dio definetely speaks 'loneliness'. Great job! Keep us updated!
