Hi, Even though I'm not what you would call a Tiger fan-think the market is totally over-saturated with them-Dragon has most definitely taken at least a step or two above the average model kit with this one, and once you get yours you will see that it is most definitely money well spent.
I'm still excited just to look over all the neat stuff on the spures and read through the directions every day till I can get to actually get to working on it.
Only problem that I can see with it is--Can you be satisfied with just one? Ha, ha!
Take care, Sgirty

Personally, I think that, when DML brings out it's Late Model Tiger later this year or next week (delete where applicable) the AFV Club one wil be ignored, Paul's review was correct - DML stole AFV's thunder by releasing so quickly. Whatever happens, it's going to be an interesting year..Jim

I just ordereed mine from Sprue Brothers. I am not usually a WWII fan but I can't wait to see this one. It looks very interesting. I am going to try and Lee Lloyd it.

Ignored????
Really... there has NEVER been a 1/35th scale Tiger I kit that did not get built by the hundreds or even thousands and thousands... every Tiger I kit that has ever been on the market including - Italeri, Academy, Nichimo, Tamiya (old and the new ones) and now Dragon and AFV Club - has always been a top seller for the producer... think about it... just this month we saw an AWESOME build of the ancient, horrible, toy like Tamiya kit... we all have these kits, and someone will build them.
People will build the AFV Club kit because when they show up at the Local Hobby shop... they will be sitting on the shelf next to the way overpriced Tamiya kits...
The Dragon kits have been such hot sellers they didn't even make it to the shelves at my LHS...
Later,
Tim
