Greetings Fellow Softskin Lovers
Cliff, aka Brother Pouch, aka Roo, has experienced a power surge that basically toasted his modem and computer hard drive. He believes he will be off line, (and not able to visit Armorama), for at least 7 to 10 days. He looks forward to his return, and wishes all site members and visitors well.
Steve

He is already sorely missed.
What a major bummer it is to have that happen to your PC. I know I would be having some serious withdrawals!
Hope he gets it fixed soon. And heres hoping he invests in a surge protector.

If anyone has contact with him please let him know I have a 56K Netcomm modem and a 20 GB drive he can have. All he needs pay is the postage once the items arrive.
I have a lot of theses items from working in IT the last 10 years and I would be happy to help a fellow modeller.
Cheers

That sounds like a real good offer Andy D, and your closer then the rest of us aren't you, but it's hard to say, what he will need, of course I have no idea what I'm talking about, I don't even know how to get the programs I have up and running, let a lone fix a computer.
Maybe sense Steve was able to find out he was down, he could find out if he wants it, or could use it. Cause if he is like me, it has to go to the shop.

gee Chad, I don't know...perhaps, scratching his head?
Going through withdrawls?
Enjoying all his "Free Time"?
Catching up on some reading?
Finishing that jigsaw puzzel he started five years ago?
or, starting and finishing another truck conversion...
