Specially the frontal shot is awesome!! I like the chipping and the wear and tear showing on this puppy. At first I thought the finish was a bit too brown, but the more I look at it, the more I like it...

Most of my work is the war torn and battered version. Hopefully not so overly muddy and dirty as to lose the model, but worn enough to tell the story of the combat soldiers and not the armchair generals.

What maker of .30 cal did you use on the commanders hatch?

The .30 is a mixed bag - an Academy Frame/Receiver and handle, Verlinden Ammo Box, sheet tin for the cradle, and plastic stock mounting pole and misc.... became a project onto itself. Next time I will simply go with a Verlinden or Academy .30
