Picked up a Dragon PNZR lll H the other day...nice kit pulled out my pile of research books and found I was woefully inadequate on this type of vehicles. I've got a wealth of info on Stugs, PNZR lV, Panther and (OH YEA) Tigers. So questions I have are
1. what type was first used in Poland/FRance campaigns
2. What was latest type used in N. Afrika
3. Is the Tamiya kit a jewel or an old mold

Just a few general answers to your Pz111 questions.

1. Poland and France was the Pz111, AusF E.
DML kit # 9040. This kit has been recently re-
released.
2.The Pz111, AusF. M and N were used in North
Africa.

3. The new Tamiya kit, #35215 Pz111, AusF. L is a really nice kit and goes together well. The old Tamiya kit, #MM111A is crude, but was the only thing available to us in the 70's and kind of looks like a Pz111.

Hope that helps.

Thanks a bunch fred. I thought the Tamiya L was the new one and that it was good. Probably pick one of those up for an Afrika Korp version, use my H as a Russian Campaign and maybe pick up that E to go early war, but more than likely go with a D version PZKW IV for then
