Having returned from the Euro-Militare at Folkstone Kent England, the highlight of the weekend was buying a Resi-cast model of a Seebee Caterpillar. The cost with the resin cast driver was £85, yes i know, but what a model (the instructions are not the best). The problem is photos, the box includes 3 photos in black & white, but that's it i have two myself but if any knows a website or book please leave a link.

Lee, here's a site to get you started in your quest on Seabee histories. There are lots of links and book suggestions.

If I remember right, the SeaBees were originally formed from members of the Morrison-Knudson Construction Company, headquartered in Boise, Idaho. The company has since changed names, but that might give you something for a keyword search. You might also check with the Public Affairs Office at Naval SeaBee Center, Port Heuneme, CA.
