I got off of work early and since the weather was getting colder than I like to ride my Harley in, I got some more done on the base for my King Tiger dio. The building has some initial painting done, the floor is in and stained, inside walls are textured and painted. Second floor has some more structure to it...not much but some, started a ladder for the observation guys up top, (Still more to do on this) And last but not least I got a little spot painting done on/in the rubble piles. (Still lots more painting to do) It's starting to take shape though. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks "Q" ps, I plan on varying the tones of the brick work to break up the solid red appearance.

Man this diorama is really coming along nicely. I do have one question about this photo:
This window appears as if there were a fire inside, but the interior has no visible sign of fire. It should be easy to soot up the interior a little. This diorama is so good, I hate to nitpick. Fire is my life you know.........

Patrick, you are correct. I just hadn't gotten that far yet. I will probably save that for towards the end, as I will more than likely end up painting over it if I do it now. Thanks. "Q"

Matthew this dio just gets better and better. The various tones really brings out your already very good groundwork & building. Looking forward to seeing it finished. Let's hope the weather continues to be conducive to you putting in more time on the model.
Maybe a small snowstorm might help
