Hi all,
Here are the latest pics of my Italeri M32. The weathering is basically done.(Carl I still have to add the front tow pintle) The Brown pastel on the front ad left side is not as brown in real life it is more like the right side.
All comments welcome.

Looking good Andrew,

This baby saw some action, I like the dusty looks on her!!
There's one small nitpick, the tracklinks on the rear panel show some lines, and the weathering of them is a bit off compared to the rest of your model. I mean, I can see brushmarks in silver on the links....

Just my two cents,
John.

Thanks John, I noticed the tracklinks on the rear too. I will sort them out ASAP.

well Andy this baby is really improving every day . I skip the good and say that i see a lil film on the turret star decal , and maybe u could do some treatment with some overpainting or dusting . Pastel looks nice but if i dont see it in real i am not able to say if its a bit overdone. Ure f9inishing a good model in all. Ure getting better thats for sure

Thanks Costas, In real life the Decal isn't as bad but it is still a bit glossy so I will fix that up too.

Hi Andy, It is lookin ggood and I have no critique of my own as the others have hit all the points I would have. My question (I'm not much up on the variants) is what was this used for? Cheers Kevin

I really like the way that star turned out after it ripped.

Hi mate,

Personally, I must say I think you've overdone the dust on the first 2 pics.....but, if you're going to put it on a dio, I could see why it's so dusty!

The rest looks good, keep it up!

Andrew, great paint job, looks realy beaten up and weathered. That turret decal definately needs matting down a bit, but the pic probably makes it look worse than it is. Overall a great job.

Thanks for the comments everyone

Hilbert: I am not too sure on figures I will have a rummage through my spares box and see if there is anything suitable.

Kevin: This variant of the Sherman was used in a recovery role to extract vehicles that were ethier knocked out or stuck usually in combat situations.

Martin: the model is dusty but not as dusty as the pic shows.

There may be some delay in finishing this model as the kit tracks are utter rubbish and I will have to buy some AM ones.

Howdy Andrew,

Superb weathering my dear sir. I like your first shot, it does the best job of showing your work. I wish the second shot was better focused, plus I'd like a closer look at the bogies....

Can't wait to see more of this one!

Tread.

I will take one of the bogies for you personally and whack it in the gallery and PM you the link.

Looking good Andy, as usual. The only thing I can notice and as already pointed out by someone else, is a bit of silvering under the decal on the turret in pic #3...
Ciao

Thanks Fabio, I will get that decal sorted ASAP. I think from now on I will use dry transfers.

I see a couple of fixable things. The 2 spare roadwheels on the turret, should"hang" down from those molded on straps on them. The wheels them selves will fit ibn the "frame" that is to be glued onto the top of the engine intake cover.

Also there is no such thing as too much weathering, espescially in combat.
