alright, here it goes: this is my first attempt at weathering a tank, and hte first time weathering soemthing, i still need to work on hte mud, it isnt finished yet, its not thick enought, i had to much water in the mixture, and i need to change the color a little
For the base, the mud is grounded coffee mized with white glue. i then painted it with red brown, but il be repainting it and workign on it to get the tone i want. for the grass i used the only thing that could be close to suitable, green tea, because i didnt have nothing else. the tree is jsut some moss on a plant i found and painted
i will also be adding soem figures once hte base is finsihed
thanks for looking, any ideas tips and feed back would be apreciated

The glossy effect on the figures I think is down to the strong light ( I get the same problems!) so I'll ignore that.
This is a good model, the only problem that I can see is that I would expect a heavyweight like the Churchill to sink into the ground , or at least leave a churned up track behind it. Even on the hard ground of Normandy in the summer of 1944 tanks would really make a mess of any unmetalled surface.

He Francois I like your tank the mud on it is great, the grass is great and I like your tree, nice work.
Only a few things about the base you have to sink your tank a little in the base.
And you made a hill in you base but the hill is to straight you have to make some curves in it.
(sorry for the bad english I hope you understand it)
Greetz Rob!
