I have searched several sites including greatmodels, squadron, and bentbutnotbroken.com (which has 3 differnt ones for the M109 and other vehicles I have never heard of). Instead of endlessly searching for something that doesn't exist, I thought I would check with the wise sages here and see if there is such a thing made?

I don't know if your set on getting a metal barrel but verlinden did make a resin one. As to the availability of metal I havent seen one in my walks through the metal barrel sites.

I am not set on metal, so I will look into the resin one. Thanks for letting me know about it. If it is from verlinden I assume it comes with some type of update kit also. Has anyone used it before? If so please tell me what you think of it.

I bought the verlinden kit a while back and was very pleased with the breach detail. The barrel is nice if your planning on building the A1 version but the muzzle brake is a bear to drill out and clean up. The rear tube assembly had a noticable "hump" in it and after several attempts to correct it I finally gave up getting it completly straight. It's close but not perfect. The barrel assemblies are solid resin so I drilled them out ("be careful you dont want to destroy the breach detail ) and may go back later and install rifling if I can find a set. I did notice that the verlinden set had the notches in the barrel straps facing away and the italeri set was opposite. No seams no hours of patient sanding and checking what a concept.
