Hi everybody, I’m going dive into the wonderful world of diorama making. As I am mainly a WWII airplane builder, I thought it would an idea to start of easy and make a diorama of a plane on a field. I think I can work out how to make a fence and some trees. But how do you make realistic fields, grass with sand or mud and stuff. Can anyone give me some pointers ??

For "groundwork" you can use glynamol or "DAS" modeling mass. than you can cover it with real earh mixed with water-diluted white (elmers) glue. grass is best made with product called "static grass" , also use stones and tree trunks from local park
