I am in need of M1A2 SEP Reference Photos. I have the bug to build a SEP version thanks to the inspiration and admiration of Jim Lewis' build article.
Jim I know you moderate this forum, and I was curious to where you obtained your Renshape product. I have gone to their site but couldn't locate any ordering information.
Thanks Guys!

Not to totally hijack your thread.... but dang, what happened in this picture?

Looks like there's a HEMTT overturned in the background. Sandstorm and they got lost or just some lights out night driving? Looks like a bad place to try to ambush a convoy but what would I know...

Most likely rolled off the road during night driving. You are correct that it would not be a good place to ambush a convoy. The area is too open and the ambushers would have no cover or area to fall back to.

Kory: Looks like you are a Ducks fan. I am up here in Portland and although I went to Penn St and root for them, now that I live here in the Great Northwest, I have adopted the Ducks as my third team (ND is my second team). I HATE the Beaves since they beat up my beloved ND a fews years back in a bowl game.
Okay, onto model stuff. My understanding of the background to the photo you attached (which will be appearing in my book courtesy of Don) is that both of these vehicles "lost it" during the nightime driving of OIF1. Accidents like this were VERY common with tired drivers and lack of lighting. I am sure many of heard about the tanks that rolled into canals and rivers, as well as Humvees too. This is an example of that.

Yes, huge Duck fan. Sadly over the last few years the results on the field have caused me to spend more and more time modeling to forget about fumbles and poor defense...
And back to tanks and modeling. Are there seatbelts in Abrams tanks? I read in Thunder Run about multiple crews driving at near full speed into concrete obstacles and would think that you would definitely feel a bump.
